Don Bosco Oysterbay made history in 2020 by having two graduations within two months.
On 2nd October we had the graduation of our 733 students completed the Course. As it was the time of General election campaign we could not have any major political leaders. However, we had a fitting graduation celebration. The guests of honour were His Lordship Salutarius Le-bena, the Catholic Bishop
of Ifakara who presided over the Holy Eucharist and Mr. Joseph Nganga & Ms. Agnes. Unfortunately all those who graduated could not attend the function as they had traveled to other parts of Tanzania for jobs.
The graduation of our Level III (V.T.C.) was held on 20th November 2020. The Holy Eucharist was presided over by Rev. Fr. Joseph Matumaini, the Parish Priest of St. Joseph Cathedral, Dar es Salaam. The other chief guest was Mr. Almando Mas-simo, the Board member of Access Bank Tanzania. 69 students graduated and for the first time we had MVM students graduating.
For both graduations after the Holy Eucharist the parents and guests had the opportunity to visit our workshops and to see for themselves the various products prepared by our able staff and students. The de-apartments of Electrical, Fitter Mechanics and Carpentry were out-standing in innovation and creativity.
