brand new computers for our Computer Department. Many of the computers we had were very old and outdated. This donation is worth more than T.Sh. 50 millions! We thank the Late Mzee Jasani for his foresight. We are still benefiting from his generosity even after 18 years since his death back in 2003. A special word of thanks to the trustees: Mr. Bharat Thaker and Mr. Shashi hah for their genuine concern and love for Don Bosco Oysterbay. With the introduction of these new computers, our department is able to attract new students and our VTC students can equip themselves better for their future. We pray that the Almighty God may continue to bless our great benefactors, Mr. Bharat Thaker and Mr. Shashi Shah and their families. Those who do not know the late Mzee Jasani; he was born on 5th December 1937 in Gujarat
(India) . At the age of 18 he came to East Africa and settled down at Zanzibar and he worked as
watch repairer. God blessed him with a great business mind and he succeeded in whatever he did. He believed in honesty, transparency and dignity of human beings. He did business with the sole motive of helping others. At first it was helping his nephew and nieces who lost their parents. Then he began to help anyone who was in need. Mzee Jasani came in contact with Don Bosco in 1997 and from that year until now his name is a household name in different Don
Bosco communities of Tanzania and Kenya. The Sterling Trust had earlier sponsored the Jasani dining hall for the staff, the Motor V. Workshop, The Jasani Auditorium, timber for our Carpentry Workshop and sponsorship for 15 students in these past 4 years. Long Live Mzee Jasani!
